4. Lincoln / The City That Sleeps


Project: 8-hour sound bath / album
Lincoln asked me to participate in a project relating to sleep and urban stress.

I was commisioned to compose eight hours worth of sleep music in the form of eight individual tracks. Each track would be based off of ambience sounds from eight different neighbourhoods in New York.

The project culminated with an eight-hour sleep concert at a Manhattan rooftop and concluded with a limited vinyl release of The City That Sleeps and a TV-spot.
