4. Lincoln / The City That Sleeps

Project: 8-hour sound bath / album

A long-form sound work developed in collaboration with Lincoln, centred on sleep, duration and the sonic textures of the city at night.

The project consisted of eight hours of continuous music, structured as eight individual tracks, each informed by ambient field recordings from different neighbourhoods in New York. The work was presented as an eight-hour overnight sleep concert on a rooftop in Manhattan, allowing the city’s nocturnal soundscape to unfold as a sustained listening environment.

The project concluded with a limited vinyl release of The City That Sleeps and a broadcast film component.
